Database Display

Initially this application shows all database records of a certain database table (demo/src). If required scroll buttons and a scroll bar are automatically displayed. Using the wizard you can select various layouts, e.g. to display the records using an HTML table, an HTML enumeration (demo/src), a mutli-table, (demo/src), or just as a sequence of paragraphs (demo/src). A variant of the application contains a detailed record view (demo/src).

Use the RADpage wizzard ("New Page" in the "File" menu) and select "Database Display". Then you can select the layout, the database relation to show, and wether you want to use the detailed record view or not. In a second step you can select what record fields to show in the table and in the detailed record view.

Using table layout click on the handle of a table column to right justify numeric columns, to select a number formats, or to change the column name.

Using paragraph or enumeration layout freely format the record display by clicking on the p or li component.

Configure the Scroll Buttons by clicking on the handle of the Scrollercontrolline component. You might want to switch off search and clear links.

Click on the dbscrollformat component to select the number of records shown per page and to modify the general appearance of the table.

Click on the dbscroller component to constrain the set of records shown, to display more fields, and to join more database relations.
